Smaller lens widths, different shapes

These six models have 45–49 mm lens widths. A small lens opening does not guarantee a narrow overall frame or the right bridge fit.

Read all three measurements.

The first number on a frame is the width of one lens opening, not the total frame width. The bridge and temple measurements matter as well. Around, for example, measures 45 / 22 / 140 mm: a small lens opening with a 22 mm bridge. Adorable measures 47 / 15 / 135 mm, so it offers a different set of proportions.

Start with the numbers inside a comfortable pair you already wear. Compare them with each frame page, then look at the bridge design and the shape of the front. Equal measurements do not guarantee an identical fit.

“Small face” does not describe one universal size. If your existing glasses slide, pinch or sit awkwardly, ask us about the model before ordering. Do not assume a smaller lens width alone will fix the fit.

Choose a shape after you compare size.

A round frame and a cat-eye can have similar measurements while creating a different look. Around is a round metal style; Adorable is a plastic cat-eye. Asap and Floyd offer rectangle styles. Check the photographs, available colors and proportions together.

Adults who need smaller frames do not have to choose a kids’ model automatically. These are adult collection choices. For a child, use the kids’ collection and check the measurements for that wearer.

Read our small and narrow face guide, or use the frame measurement guide before comparing the full catalog.

Questions before choosing

Does a 45 mm lens width mean a 45 mm wide frame?

No. It is the width of one lens opening. Bridge size, rims and the front design also affect the overall frame width.

Are these children’s glasses?

The selections here come from the adult collections. Use the kids’ collection when shopping for a child.

Can you guarantee a small-face fit?

No. Compare the dimensions and bridge design with a comfortable pair, and ask us about unclear fit details before ordering.
