Frequently asked questions

Prices, shipping states, prescriptions, PD, sizes and payment.

How much are your glasses?

Everyday frames are $79 and prescription safety glasses are $149. Both prices include single vision prescription lenses. Free shipping to the states we serve.

What lens options can I add?

Every pair comes with standard plastic (CR-39) single vision lenses. On each frame page you choose your lens material, anti-glare and tint before adding it to your cart:

  • Lens material: Standard plastic (CR-39) (included), Polycarbonate +$15, Hi-index 1.67 +$45
  • Anti-glare coating: No anti-glare, Standard anti-glare +$35, Crizal Easy anti-glare +$50
  • Lens tint: Clear, Solid tint +$20, Photochromic +$55, Transitions GEN S +$68
  • Extras: Engraved temple +$18

Prescriptions stronger than ±4.00 SPH or 3.00 CYL add $15 per pair plus $1.50 for each extra diopter per lens.

Can I buy just the frame, or just lenses?

No. Every order is a complete pair: a frame with single vision prescription lenses made to your Rx. We don't sell frames without lenses or lenses without a frame.

Which states do you ship to?

We currently ship to Oregon, Montana, Delaware and Michigan. We're adding more states soon. Email fasteyeglasses@gmail.com if you'd like to know when we reach yours.

Do you make bifocals or progressives?

Not yet. We make single vision lenses only, which have one power across the whole lens, for distance or for reading. If your prescription has an ADD value, email us before you order.

What do I need to order?

Your eyeglass prescription (SPH, CYL and AXIS for each eye) and your PD. You can type the numbers in at checkout, upload a photo or PDF of your prescription, or both.

What is PD and how do I find it?

PD is the distance between your pupils in millimeters. It's often printed on your prescription. You can also measure it with a mirror and a ruler; see the steps in our ordering guide.

How do I choose my frame size?

Look inside the temple arm of glasses that fit you well. You'll see three numbers like 52□18-140: lens width, bridge and temple length. Pick a frame with a lens width within about 2 mm.

How do I pay?

We take payment through PayPal. You can pay with your PayPal account or with a debit or credit card through PayPal's checkout. Your card details go to PayPal, not to us.

Is my prescription information safe?

Your prescription is sent over an encrypted connection and delivered only to our order inbox. We use it to make your glasses and don't sell it. See our privacy page for details.

Do you have safety glasses?

Yes. Our safety frames come with single vision prescription lenses. If your workplace requires ANSI Z87.1-rated safety eyewear, email fasteyeglasses@gmail.com before ordering so we can confirm the right lens.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Email fasteyeglasses@gmail.com with your order reference and we'll make it right.
