Larger lens widths to compare

Lens widths range from 57 to 60 mm. These are measurement-based starting points, not a guarantee of overall width or comfort.

Compare width without losing sight of the bridge.

A larger lens width is only part of a wider frame search. Colossal measures 60 / 15 / 145 mm, while Hudson measures 60 / 19 / 150 mm. Their lens widths match, but the bridge and temple lengths differ.

Compare all three numbers with a pair that fits you comfortably. Look at how the bridge sits, whether the temples press at the sides and whether the front feels balanced. Overall frame width is not the same as the lens width printed inside the temple.

Do not assume an optician can turn a much smaller frame into the right fit by adjusting it. Ask us about the specific model and its proportions before purchase if your current glasses feel tight.

Keep the lens choice connected to your prescription.

A larger lens shape changes the finished pair as well as its appearance. Review the frame shape alongside your prescription and lens material options. We do not promise a particular finished lens thickness or weight from the frame measurements alone.

The everyday base pair includes standard plastic single vision lenses for $79. Polycarbonate adds $15 and high-index 1.67 adds $45. Other options and stronger-prescription charges can change the complete total. Compare lens choices before payment and contact us if you are unsure.

Our wide-face buying guide covers the fit checks. You can also compare comfort and weight considerations as part of the whole pair.

Questions before choosing

Are these the widest frames in the store?

They are six larger-lens-width choices, not a measured ranking of total frame width. Compare the full catalog and ask about a particular model.

Do all 60 mm frames fit the same?

No. Bridge width, temple length, rim construction and front design can differ even when the lens width matches.

Will longer temples make a narrow frame wider?

No. Temple length is a separate measurement and does not change the lens openings or fixed front proportions.
