Round face
Soft curves, with width and length about the same.
Angular frames add definition and make a round face look longer and slimmer. Pick frames a little wider than your face.
Guide
Find your face shape, then pick frames that balance it. The simplest rule: choose a frame shape that contrasts with your face shape.
Soft curves, with width and length about the same.
Angular frames add definition and make a round face look longer and slimmer. Pick frames a little wider than your face.
Balanced proportions, a little longer than wide, with a gently rounded jaw.
Almost any shape works. Keep the frame about as wide as the widest part of your face.
A strong jaw, broad forehead and straight sides.
Curved frames soften strong angles. Round and oval lenses balance a wide jaw.
A wider forehead that narrows to a smaller chin.
Frames that are lighter on top, or slightly wider at the bottom, balance a broad forehead.
Noticeably longer than wide, often with a tall forehead.
Deeper frames with some height break up the length of the face. Avoid very narrow lenses.
Wide cheekbones with a narrower forehead and chin.
Frames with detail on the brow line, like cat-eyes, highlight your cheekbones and balance the forehead.
Whatever shape you choose, check the size. Your eyes should sit near the center of each lens, the frame shouldn't be much wider than your face, and your eyebrows should sit just above the top of the frame. See the frame size guide, then shop all frames.
