Recover the prescription information first
Look for your current eyeglass prescription or request a readable copy from the prescribing office. A memory of your old lens strength is not a replacement for the document. Use the prescription supplied for the purpose you need, such as distance or reading.
Confirm your PD as well. An old order may contain useful information, but check that the prescription and measurement are the ones you should use now. If the prescription lists an ADD, contact us before ordering; Fast Eyeglasses currently makes single vision pairs.
Find a frame-size reference
If you have a backup pair that fits comfortably, check the lens width, bridge width and temple length printed inside its arm. A previous order confirmation may also identify the frame model and selected size.
Use that information to compare the new frame, not to assume every similar number means the same fit. Bridge design and overall front proportions matter too. Try our current-pair comparison guide, smaller frame choices or larger lens-width choices.
Compare the replacement price
The $79 Fast Eyeglasses everyday base pair includes a frame and standard plastic single vision lenses. Optional materials, coatings and tints add to the price. A polycarbonate configuration starts at $94; a high-index 1.67 configuration starts at $124 before other options or prescription charges.
A replacement does not qualify for an automatic lost-glasses discount or free remake. Loss is a different situation from a qualifying lab error or damaged delivery. Compare your new order’s total before paying.
Read the shipping estimate as two separate stages
Most basic pairs ship within 2 business days. Carrier transit starts after shipment. That is not a same-day or two-day arrival promise. Optional lenses may have different production timing, and shipping estimates do not establish a guaranteed delivery date.
We ship online orders with free shipping to Michigan, Delaware, Oregon and Montana. If you have a travel date or another deadline, confirm timing before ordering. Do not rely on the word “fast” to fill in a date that has not been promised.
Prepare the order, then consider a spare
Confirm the frame color and size, the lens options, your current prescription and PD, and the complete price. Check your delivery address and email. You can enter or upload a readable prescription at checkout; correct any incomplete information before payment.
Custom prescription orders do not have change-of-mind, style or fit returns, so use the same care you would for a planned purchase. Read the return and remake terms before placing the order.
Once the immediate replacement is planned, consider a backup pair for the next time glasses go missing. It is a separate purchase, not a requirement for ordering a replacement.
Common buying questions
Can I replace lost glasses without knowing my prescription?
Get a current eyeglass prescription and your PD confirmed before completing a prescription order. Do not recreate the values from memory.
Does shipping within two business days mean two-day delivery?
No. Production and carrier transit are separate. Confirm timing before ordering for a deadline.
