Check the prescription before repeating the order
To reorder prescription glasses online, first check whether the prescription you intend to use is current and appropriate for the pair you need. Do not assume an old order confirmation replaces a current prescription.
If you have had another eye exam, use the relevant current document and compare it carefully with the previous order. A change in one field is easy to miss when you are expecting the new order to be identical.
The FTC’s prescription-shopping guidance explains your right to receive your eyeglass prescription after the refraction exam. Request a legible copy from your prescriber if you cannot find the document you need.
Confirm the exact frame, color and size
Save the frame name, color and size from the previous pair, then compare them with the current listing. A similar photograph or reused style word does not guarantee the same product.
Check current availability. If the original is unavailable, use its measurements and fit as a reference, not a guarantee that another frame fits identically. Compare the bridge design, arm shape and overall dimensions as well as the printed numbers.
If the old pair no longer feels comfortable, do not reproduce the order automatically. Our fit comparison guide helps organize the questions to resolve before ordering.
Review lens choices and PD again
Check the prescribed task, material, coating and tint. Your old order may have been a distance pair, a reading pair or sunglasses. Choose the configuration you need now rather than copying every option without reviewing it.
Use measured PD in the correct format. If a previous order used a task-specific PD adjustment, ask before reusing it for a different task. Do not apply another adjustment simply because the old record mentions reading glasses.
We currently make corrective single-vision glasses only. Fully nonprescription plano pairs, bifocals, progressives and prism lenses are not available. Our complete online-ordering guide is the broader checklist.
Treat the new order as a new quote
Check today’s complete price, including material, coatings and any stronger-prescription charge. An old receipt is a record of the old purchase, not a locked price for a future pair.
Confirm the delivery address and contact details, especially if the previous order was a gift or sent somewhere temporary. We currently ship to Michigan, Delaware, Oregon and Montana. Most basic pairs ship within two business days; carrier transit comes afterward.
Read the current return policy and save the new confirmation. Qualifying manufacturing errors, defects or shipping damage have remedies, while custom style and fit returns are not accepted. A familiar order is still worth a careful final check.
Questions about ordering
Can I reorder using only an old receipt?
Use the receipt as a reference for frame and options, but obtain the current prescription details required for your new order.
Will the old order’s price always apply?
No. Check the current complete price and available options before placing a new custom order.
