Select polycarbonate under lens material.

Choose an everyday frame, then select Polycarbonate in the lens material section on its product page. Our polycarbonate option includes scratch coating and UV protection. There is no separate UV-coating upgrade to add at checkout.

The material upgrade and anti-glare coating are separate choices. Selecting polycarbonate does not automatically select standard anti-glare or Crizal Easy. Add only the options you want and check the updated total before continuing.

Polycarbonate is an impact-resistant lens material, but an everyday pair is not automatically certified safety eyewear. For a workplace protection requirement, use the prescription safety collection and confirm the required specifications before ordering.

Compare material, fit and price together.

Polycarbonate is one available material choice, not a one-size-fits-all recommendation. Use your current eyeglass prescription and ask us if you are uncertain which material suits the order. The finished pair also depends on prescription, frame shape and size.

Compare the lens, bridge and temple measurements with a comfortable pair. If your main concern is lens thickness, also compare our 1.67 high-index option. It has a different upgrade price and does not replace the need to check fit.

Read the polycarbonate versus high-index guide for the differences, then use this page to compare complete-pair configurations. Stronger-prescription charges, if applicable, are calculated after you enter your prescription.

Check your order before card payment.

  1. Confirm the frame measurements, color and size.
  2. Select the material, coating and tint choices you want.
  3. Provide your current eyeglass prescription and the PD for its intended purpose.
  4. Review the calculated total, shipping address and email before paying.

We currently make single vision glasses. Contact us before ordering if your prescription includes an ADD; bifocals and progressives are not available yet.

Prescription orders are custom-made. Change-of-mind, style and fit returns are not accepted. Report qualifying errors, defects or shipping damage within 14 days under our remake and refund policy. Follow the complete ordering checklist before payment.

Questions before ordering

Are polycarbonate lenses included in the $79 base?

No. The everyday $79 base pair includes standard plastic single vision lenses. Polycarbonate adds $15, making that configuration $94 before other options or prescription charges.

Does polycarbonate include anti-glare?

No. Standard anti-glare adds $35 and Crizal Easy adds $50. Those coatings are separate from the material choice.

Are these everyday frames certified safety glasses?

No safety certification is implied for the everyday selections. Check the safety collection and the required protection specification for your use.

Is there an extra UV-coating charge?

UV protection is included with our polycarbonate option. There is no separate UV-coating selection in the online checkout.
