Start with the pair you already like
When buying glasses online in Oregon, frame fit is one of the most useful things to check before choosing a color or lens upgrade. If you own a comfortable pair, use it as your reference. Note the model and look inside the arm for its size markings.
Fast Eyeglasses ships online orders to Oregon addresses, including Portland, Salem, Eugene, Bend and Medford. Wherever the package is going, the fit questions are the same: how does the front sit, how is the bridge supported, and are the temples comfortable?
Understand the three numbers
A marking such as 52–18–140 usually means a 52 mm lens width, an 18 mm bridge width and a 140 mm temple length. These are useful comparison points, but they are not a complete description of the fit.
The outside edges and hinges add to the front width. The lens height may be different even when the lens-width number matches. Use our frame numbers guide to read the markings, then compare the photos and listed dimensions of the new pair.
Check the bridge before sizing up
If your glasses slide, do not assume a smaller lens or a wider front is the answer. The bridge shape, nose-pad arrangement and temple adjustment can all affect where the frame sits.
Think about what your current pair does well and what bothers you. Does it pinch at the nose? Touch your cheeks when you smile? Squeeze at the sides? A specific description is more useful than simply asking for a large frame. Read the low nose bridge guide or wide-face fit guide if those concerns sound familiar.
Use face shape to narrow the style options
Once you have a reasonable size range, compare the look of the frame. Rectangle and square frames offer more angular lines; round and oval frames offer curves. Cat-eye styles place more emphasis at the upper corners.
The face shape guide and individual face-shape articles can help you build a shortlist. They do not replace measurements, and there is no frame shape you must avoid because of a face label. Keep two or three options with similar dimensions so you can compare their style fairly.
Finish the order with the right prescription and address
Have your current eyeglass prescription and PD ready. A contact lens prescription is not a substitute. If a number is unclear, ask before ordering instead of guessing. Fast Eyeglasses currently offers single vision orders; contact us first if your prescription includes an ADD.
Shipping to Oregon is free. Most basic pairs ship within 2 business days, with carrier transit after that. Confirm your apartment or unit number and use an address where the package can be received. Continue with the Oregon buying guide or browse glasses shipped to Oregon.
