What our temple engraving option includes

The sample above shows a child’s inside temple with “Brian 248-555-0147.” That is 18 characters including spaces and hyphens. The number is fictional; check the text you want carefully before placing an order. The illustration is not a guarantee of the exact finish or placement on every frame.

Fast Eyeglasses offers an optional engraved temple for +$18. The temple is the arm of the frame. The checkout asks for the text you want, up to 20 characters. This is an extra option on a prescription pair, not a frame-only or engraving-only service.

Choose a frame you want to wear first. The name on the arm does not change its lens, bridge or temple measurements. Confirm fit and color as carefully as you would for an unengraved pair.

Keep the text short and check it twice

Initials or a short name are practical starting points. Count the spaces as part of the text length and use plain letters and numbers. Do not assume emojis, symbols, a logo or a particular typeface can be engraved through the ordinary text field.

Check spelling, punctuation and capitalization before adding the pair. If you want a special character, placement or appearance that the product page does not specify, ask us before ordering. We do not promise a custom graphic treatment through this option.

These examples are before stronger-prescription charges or further options. The base includes a frame and standard plastic single vision lenses. Engraving is optional and does not automatically add a coating, tint or material upgrade.

Choose engraving on the frame page

Select the frame color and size, review the lens choices, then select Engraved temple under Extras. Enter the intended text in the engraving field. The pair price updates with the option, and the text must be completed before the custom pair can be added.

At checkout, confirm the frame and lens selections, prescription, PD, delivery address and complete total. The name on the frame is not a prescription identifier or a substitute for the order details.

Treat it as a deliberate custom order

Prescription orders are custom-made, and change-of-mind, style and fit returns are not accepted. Check the text and configuration before paying. Contact us promptly with your order reference if you notice an error; cancellation is available only before lenses enter production.

Most basic pairs ship within 2 business days, followed by carrier transit. Confirm production timing if a personalized pair is needed for a date. Shipping is free to Michigan, Delaware, Oregon and Montana.
