The same glasses frame in three sizes: which changes?

Compare Tycoon and Monica size options to see why changing frame size can also change arm length, even when the model photo looks similar.

The same glasses model can come in several sizes, and the difference is not always just a wider lens opening. The bridge may stay the same while the arms get longer. Before selecting a size from a drop-down, compare the complete number sequence with a pair you wear comfortably.

Read every number that changes

Tycoon lists 52–20–140, 54–20–145 and 56–20–150. Monica lists 50–17–130, 52–17–135 and 54–17–140. In both examples, a larger lens width comes with a longer listed arm length.

That matters if you like the front of a larger size but already find your current arms too long. Do not select only by the first number and assume everything else stays fixed.

Do not expect one photo to answer the size question

A model image helps you recognize shape and finish. It may not show a separate photograph for every size, and image scaling can make different frames appear equally large on your screen.

Use the written size options as your record. Ask about total front width or a particular proportion if the listing does not show it clearly. A ruler held against the screen will not provide a reliable frame measurement.

Record the size before configuring lenses

Write the model, color and full size together. Check that the selected option remains the one you intended when you add the complete pair to the cart.

If you are between two choices and do not have a useful reference, get fitting help before ordering. Custom prescription glasses are a commitment to the selected fit, not an opportunity to receive several sizes and send back whichever you dislike.
