Map the living-room setup
Note the distance between your usual seat and television. Try the same position when checking menus, subtitles and the main game view. If more than one seat is commonly used, record the range. A prescription discussion is more useful when it describes the actual room rather than just the fact that you play games.
Choose for viewing and everyday fit
A couch-based setup does not automatically call for reading glasses. Use the prescription intended for the viewing distance, as directed by your eye-care professional. Compare bridge and temple measurements with glasses you already find comfortable. Decide whether the same pair will also be used for other distance tasks.
Keep the lens choice clear
Our gaming preset includes clear tint and an anti-reflective coating. It does not add a sunglass tint or photochromic option. Those remain separate choices on the product page. A darkened lens is not an automatic requirement for a television session in a living room.
