You do not need to pretend an online photo is a fitting mirror. Buying glasses without trying them on works as a shopping decision when you replace a vague feeling with specific evidence: a comfortable reference pair, a suitable prescription and clear order terms. The question is not whether the frame looks good on a model. It is whether you know enough about the pair you are about to buy.
Three things you can check before falling for a frame
Start with fit evidence. A pair you wear comfortably gives you something real to compare: its size markings, bridge design and the way it sits. An old pair that pinches is evidence of what you want to change, not a template to copy.
Next, check the order itself. Have the complete current eyeglass prescription and the wearer’s measured PD for the intended task. Keep those separate from frame measurements. Then read what happens if you dislike the fit, enter a number incorrectly or receive something different from the order. Those are separate situations with different consequences.
Use an honest stoplight, not a confidence score
Green means the important information is present and consistent: the prescription is suitable, the frame is meaningfully comparable and you understand the total and policies. Green does not mean a guaranteed fit.
Yellow means a specific question remains, such as an unclear size or a prescription instruction you cannot interpret. Send that question before payment. Red means you are planning to guess the PD, invent missing prescription information or rely on returning a custom pair just because you dislike it. Pause the purchase until the missing information is resolved.
What that means at Fast Eyeglasses
Fast makes single vision prescription glasses. It does not currently make progressive, bifocal or prism lenses. If your document includes an ADD or unclear instructions, contact support before ordering; do not convert the prescription yourself.
Custom-made orders are final for customer-selected fit, style and changes of mind. Covered lab errors, wrong items, defects and shipping damage follow the published support terms. That makes the work before payment valuable. Use Fast’s frame listings to build a shortlist, then compare the details instead of treating checkout as the place to discover them.
